Goods: Men’s and women’s gently used clothing, shoes and accessories. Designers: Varying—Buffalo houses anything from Express and Banana to hipster labels American Apparel and Cheap Monday. Owner: Spencer and Kerstin Block opened their chain in Arizona in 1974 and, now their daughter Rebecca, runs it. Vibe: Hipster/old school. Price Range: Inexpensive. Most everything here is $30 or less. The Look: With such a broad range of labels, it’s hard to pick just one. You can go vintage in a classic rock tee or classy with a great little black dress—you never know what you’re gonna find. Shopper’s Perks: You can sell your gently used duds for store credit or cash—a definite plus in a receding economy.
