Grace Bernotavicius was spotted during her lunch break on Lake just west of State.
I have a friend who’s also tall, pretty, has tattoos and dresses retro. What do you call this style?
Perfect? Haha no, I don’t know. I’ve never really had to call it anything. I guess you could say retro, rockabilly, pinup-inspired, high-maintenance… You can call it whatever you like.
Who inspires you to dress like this?
I get inspired by pinups, vintage photographs and advertisements, Marilyn, Audrey, other classy dead ladies. Contrary to popular belief, not Amy Winehouse.
What made you put a flower on your head?
It was the devil. The devil made me do it. But really, I can’t leave the house without something in my hair.
What trend are you loving this season?
Well, I don’t really follow trends, but if the neon eighties-inspired styles in store windows are any indication I’m not loving them much. I have seen a lot of high-waisted shorts and pants lately though, which is just lovely.
