How do you feel about fashion? Fashion makes me feel wonderful. I love fashion and I love to get dressed every morning. It’s just so fun to pick out an outfit and to create new ones. I feel like clothes are my paint, and once I put an outfit together I have a whole painting—although I’m not too good at painting.
Where do you find inspiration? I get inspired by everything around me. I take my dog for long walks in the park and sometimes I even get inspired by mother nature. I love to look at characters in books or movies and of course vintage clothing too. Lately I’ve really been liking Suzy Bishop’s style from “Moonrise Kingdom.” However, I love to go on blogs, YouTube, and rookiemag.com as well. I especially love rookiemag, because it is geared toward teenage girls.
What are you looking forward to wearing now you’re back to school? I’m really looking forward to wearing a white vintage lace dress that I bought from a friend. I’m planning on pairing it up with some knee-high socks and the oxfords I have in the picture. I’m also planning on making that my Halloween costume (I’m dressing up as Suzy Bishop).
