Eliza Epstein was headed to Logan Square for drinks and pizza with friends after work.
What kind of look were you going for?
Gypsy child ready to take on the rain.
What item of clothing do you always incorporate in your look?
Something that plays into who I was when I woke up; I never wake up feeling exactly the same as I did the day before. Usually it relates to an era or attitude.
What are you looking forward to wearing this fall?
Deep silks, tights that are statement pieces, and vintage furs—it’s a sin but so is leaving them in the attic to rot.
Is fashion important to you? Who inspires you?
Fashion is important, but it transpires from a desire to express the various shades of our inner workings. My greatest inspiration is my brother Ross Epstein. He takes fashion where others are afraid to go.
