Eric Boyd was on his way to meet his twin brother for dinner. He was spotted at the Harrison Red Line station.
Where do you go for fashion information?
I’m totally oblivious to any type of fashion information. I find inspiration within myself. I’m a very intuitive dresser. I just go with my gut feeling; if I see something I like I just buy it, no hesitation. I don’t even have a specific mogul I look up to, there isn’t a specific person I idolize. Actually that would be myself.
What inspired your outfit today?
Simplicity. I just wanted to be as simple as possible.
What tips would you give to men who want to accessorize a bit more?
Confidence is key. You can wear as many accessories as you want. You can wear as few as you want. But if you don’t have confidence it’s not going to work.
Where do you like to shop here in Chicago?
Topman at Topshop. That store encompasses my style the best by far. East Euro, very tailored, very tapered clothing.
What makes you think someone is well dressed?
Originality. But I must say I’m not easily impressed. When I am impressed I do make it my business to compliment them. I take pride in that.
What’s on your wish list for the holidays?
I just want a happy family, that’s all!
